In a surprising crossover event that challenges conventional predictions, the game developer has announced an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Uncovered

According to the official release, "A mysterious confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of prohibited practices and monstrous transformations reverberate through the darkness." The narrative introduces a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a hidden group.

The mission focuses on "strange experiments and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Transformations

The preview highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser ends with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Extra Content

Players who accomplish the quest will receive an unique katana alongside multiple objects concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
