Nico O’Reilly Another assured performance from the youngster following his first cap against another side. Saka did not capitalize on the most of an exquisite touch over their defense. His position is his to lose at this stage. 7/10

Adam Wharton His maiden beginning with the national team. A bit sloppy when playing out but his inswinging set-pieces caused problems. A useful game manager for the coach to have versus defensive opponents. Cautioned for a poorly timed challenge. 6/10

The midfielder Crosses from dead balls and free-kicks caused problems. Was given room to drift down the left flank yet found himself in an offside position upon receiving in front of goal. Awarded a deserved break after an hour. Six

Jude Bellingham Functioned in a forward role out wide while also did plenty of dirty work. Displayed moments of class but scuffed an effort wide. Replaced in the closing stages for Rogers, his competition, after being booked. 7/10

The winger Had the team's clearest opportunity of the first half, his effort well saved from the Albanian keeper. With a teammate staying deep, it fell to him to stretch the play down the right side yet his deliveries from wide areas were hit and miss. Taken off with 15 to go. Six

The captain The match-winner netting 77th and 78th goals in an England shirt. The opener a typical opportunist's goal and his next an excellent header having drifted away off his defender. Now 32, his form is unwavering and the side stand a real opportunity in future competitions with him leading the line. Eight

Eberechi Eze Found it tough to make an impact out wide. Had a decent opportunity when set up by the midfielder yet the keeper made the save. His replacement had a greater effect when substituted. 5/10
